Why I Chose Infectious Disease: Especially during the COVID19 pandemic, infectious disease challenged me like no other specialty, allowing me to hone in my critically thinking and clinical skills.

Career goals: As someone who enjoys variety, I feel that ID offers a broad-spectrum (pun intended) of infectious pathologies and patient diversity. I chose ID at Rutgers NJMS because I wanted to train in a densely populated area with exposure to the wide array of patients and diseases ID has to offer. I also have an interest in critical care and NJMS allows me to combine my interest in ID and the critically ill.
Hobbies: Brazilian jiu-jitsu, testing my personal limits for spicy foods, watching Paul Verhoeven’s Robocop as often as possible
