Graduation Requirements

Students must successfully complete the preclerkship and clinical portions of their training, including passage of USMLE Step 1, Step 2 CK and Step CS, and the NJMS Graduation OSCE in accordance with NJMS Promotion and USMLE Policies.

The Registrar’s Office performs an initial degree audit on each fourth-year student in the late fall of the senior year, with a final degree audit during the spring term. Students are responsible for completion of all degree requirements and for monitoring their own academic progress towards degree.

Degrees will only be conferred if all graduation requirements are satisfactorily completed in keeping with NJMS and Rutgers deadlines.
